This shrimp fly patterns was developed by a skilled Danish coastal fisherman and flytyer Troels Holstein Kaa. Høtyven is a palmer-hackled shrimp fly that should work well in all seasons. The combination with the classic shrimp colors tan/ginger and then the long vivid orange rubber legs and the fluorescent head has secured Høtyven a place in many coastal flyfishers boxes and for a good reason - it is extremely effective even for "tricky trout".
